Academy
Academy is the top of the ladder: how identities grow the capabilities everything below routes on. Its defining property is that training and production feed the same Capability Graph. A capability earned in Academy is the same object HumanOS trusts when routing real work — no parallel transcript, no certificate silo.
Honest status first
Read this page as design plus current state, not a shipped course catalog:
- Live today: the protocol capability engine. Work performed under HumanOS generates capability evidence in every deployment, now. Organizations can author structured learning paths with Academy Studio through the API, SDK, and CLI.
- Early: the guided learner surface — simulations, labs, personalized paths for individual learners. We are building toward it in the open.
The model
| Piece | What it does |
|---|---|
| Evidence ingestion | Existing credentials and experience enter the graph as capability evidence — Academy builds on what you bring |
| Learning paths | Authored sequences targeting specific capability gaps, built against real workflow shapes |
| Task proofs | Completion produces verifiable evidence of demonstrated work, not attendance records |
| Routing eligibility (roadmap) | Growth shows up where it matters: graduates become routable for Workforce tasks that require the capability |
Two design commitments
- Re-skilling is never paywalled for the human. Enterprises fund the model; individuals never pay to rebuild their livelihood. This is a design constraint on the protocol's economics, not a promotion.
- Evidence over certificates. The unit of progress is a verifiable proof of demonstrated capability — the same evidence type the graph uses for production work.
